Psychologists at Beyond Borders
A brief description of our psychologist is that we have an international education deemed at least equivalent to the Swedish psychology program. Our psychologists are on their journey towards obtaining their Swedish psychology license.
International education
In Sweden, individuals cannot use the title "psychologist" without a license from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen), which is the main purpose of this project. Here, a "psychologist" denotes someone with an international education working towards obtaining a Swedish license, and thus, does not fall under the Health and Medical Services Act.
Each psychologist possesses a master's degree.
All our psychologists have earned a minimum of a master's degree in psychology, recognized by the Swedish Council for Higher Education (Universitets- och högskolerådet). This accreditation ensures that their education is on par with the Swedish psychology program.
